Seoul & Busan Trip - Day 3

Hello there again, assalamualaikum.

Macam function teruk kan this week post after post after post. Cause really, I'm being pushed by my lil group of friends to cepat cepat continue for next days in Korea macam lah diorang tak tengok insta story aku berjela panjang haritu. Boleh la sign up eh siapa nak join fan club 😝

Okay anyway, enough bluffing, let's continue on day 3! So day 3 we finally decided to utilize our Discover Seoul Pass which I have bebel long enough on this previous post - Seoul Day 1 and Pre Trip Booking. As what I mentioned, we bought the pass for 24hrs experience only and teramat sangatlah menyesal tak beli for at least 48hrs sebab Seoul tu bukan kecik, you cannot finish everything in a day especially when you're those type yang setiap inch berjalan weh gamba gamba weh gamba. YES IT IS NECESSARY TO DO SO. Pergi melaka pun gambar beratus takkan pergi korea 25 gambar je hello.

Okay so out of 34 free attractions we can enjoy, our initial list in itinerary was to go to these places:
  • Gyeongbokgung Palace - RM10.95~
  • HANBOKNAM - Hanbok rental - around RM90~ for 3hrs original price
  • Running Man Thematic Experience - RM56~
  • SMTOWN coexartium museum - RM63~
  • SMTOWN Theatre - RM28
  • MBC World - RM63
  • 63 Building - RM37
Kalau ikutkan total cost for all these experiences would be around RM318. But we bought the pass to enjoy all these in Klook for only RM130. Good deal I would say termasuk one way AREX ticket which will cost you around RM20.

Tapi berangan lah tu semua, ending dia we only got to use the deal for Gyeongbokgung Palace, Hanboknam, SMTOWN museum and AREX only. Total used was RM194~ camtu je weh oh sedihnya but issokayy it's still a good deal jimat 60 hengget dah ahah. We didn't use the deal for SMTOWN theatre and Running Man thingy. Will tell you why later k.

Gyeongbokgung Palace | Hanboknam | Bukchon Hanok Village

Welcome to the palace in the city *music Goong*

Around Seoul ni ada banyak palace yang korang boleh visit but we decided to go to only 1 palace which is Gyeongbokgung sebab cam takyah la pergi semua, aku bukan into architecture ke history ke. Anyway, mari mulakan dengan tips to go to Korean palaces. Make sure kalau korang ada hajat nak rent hanbok (Korean traditional attire), please do so before korang pergi the palaces. Sebab for those wearing hanbok, entrance is FREE! But of course, the rental itself lagi mahal daripada tiket masuk palace. But takkan pergi Korea tak try hanbok en en en.

We rented hanbok from Hanboknam sebab yang ni included dalam Discover Seoul Pass. Location kedai dia senang je nak cari sebab dia dalam area Bukchon Hanok Village. Kalau korang tanya information counter Gyeongbokgung pun dia boleh guide korang. Situ memang banyak tempat hanbok rental, so kalau korang tak get the deal, boleh redah je any kedai. This one not nearest to the palace. So hanbok ni korang boleh pilih nak yang traditional/themed punya. Themed punya cam lawa lawa sikit tapi cam langsir rumah aku pun ada jugak. Cam lawa eh kain langsir buat baju rupanya. Package dia included with hair accessories and ada hairdresser braidkan rambut korang kalau freehair. Tudung takde eh jangan mimpi dia nak braid kan jadi Elsa pulak ewah ewah. So kalau korang nak add on handbag ke kasut ke, haa yang tu tak included dalam package, kena bayar additional rental.

Playing princess
Betul kan macam langsir rumah aku kan
Spring can be all year round when you have artificial cherry blossom and me as props ahaks

Staff dia baik gila siap pakaikan baju and all, macam kalau mat saleh datang Malaysia nak pakai kain batik haa gituh and luckily we went there early morning kedai baru bukak. So kasih sayang yang diberi tu extra sikitlah staff pun semua cargasss lagi. Masa nak ciao tu ya Allah dah crowded dah kedai dia. Since kedai dia located in Bukchon Hanok Village, kitorang round the village dulu lah take photo and all (sebab tu itinerary kacau bilau afterwards wakaka). Dekat situ saje dah spent time lama gila. Boomerang lah slow mo lah banyak hal lah perempuan.

Okay so lepas dah sedar diri we were running out of time, we patah balik to the palace. Took few pictures here and there. Funny when we asked some ahjussi to help take picture, they took it so seriously siap ajar how we should pose haha. Kalau korang nak learn the culture and all, korang boleh join slot yang ada tour guide. Ada certain time ada parade, tapi masa kitorang pergi tu rushing kan jalan pun tak cukup tanah, ada hati eh nak tengok orang berkawad? Nope. But we did appreciate the architecture and the breezy surrounding including so many princess-like girls from different countries wearing hanbok. So pretty!

Ni kalau Melayu cam balairong seri la kot tempat raja dia
Lain level tourist ambikkan gambar, angle dia lain macam eh
On our way to hike that mountain over there. Nope.
Oh yes tak hujan, boleh wempitz leypak mamak
Member untuk dijual. DM for number.

Macam minangkabau sikit kan architecture dia

It's clearly not spring yet cause you see all the pokok macam mintak I pergi hinggap ke dahan je jadi bunga kat situ

Halal Kitchen

After pulangkan hanbok, we headed for lunch! Yang ni funny story sebab actually Halal Kitchen tu walking distance je weh from where we were tapi dah gelabah mengejar masa, macam okay lah naik cab lah pulak tak penah naik cab kat Korea. Masalah dia bila naik cab, kau susah nak communicate sebab ahjussi can only speak hangul. So aku acah la navigate for him. Demmit navigator tu bawak patah balik from where we were dengan jalan yang super sempit which meant for pedestrian. Ko tak rasa ahjussi tu maki kitorang sampai bernanah telinga la kalau kau paham hangul. We were charged for 4000won tapi tak sampai destination. We just turun before ahjussi mengamuk takleh nak reverse teksi. It was first and last we took cab in Seoul hahahaha punyalah seram. So jalan punya jalan rupanya tak jumpa sebab Halal Kitchen tu located in the middle of buildings yang ada tangga kecik kau turun bawah tu kau jumpa la kedai dia. Haih. We wasted so much time just to get lost and kena marah hahaha.

Before pergi ada buat research sikit on Halal Kitchen ni. Tapi turned out all the menu yang ada kat blog rupanya dah takde. Diorang jual only 2 menu which are chicken samgyetang and beef bulgogi. Owner dia ramah gila okay lepastu dari awal visit sampai lah nak balik dia dok cerita Mizz Nina datang kedai dia buat rakaman for her vlog blablabla blablabla. And seperti biasa dalam kedai tu masa tu semua Malaysian hahahaha. The food was so good, and kedai dia ada surau but as per mentioned, harga dia takleh bincang gak la mahal. We puas hati anyway.

Beef bulgogi - RM62 per pax
Happy eh kau mas

Running Man Thematic Experience

Done makan laju laju kejar next itinerary. Excited weh exploring Seoul naik bas/subway jauh jauh, macam kalau dekat KL aku rasa aku dah pusing satu KL pastu sambung Damansara, pastu gi pulak Shah Alam, Putrajaya, Bangi and all. Faham tak all in a day penat dia cemana, naik public transport some more. Lepastu dah sampai RM Thematic Experience ni kitorang cam okay, what should we do here? Pusing tengok dalam tu all are parents with kids. Apaan nih aku kat Tabika Perpaduan kah? Sebab weekend kan, faham la parents bawak anak jalan jalan. Tapi the games pun macam memang meant for kids. Since it's crowded and nothing much to explore, we decided to leave. Macam sendu kan kau dah datang jauh jauh pastu kau blah camtu je sebab excitement kau macam tersekat di skala empat. Hahaha but I dunno it might be interesting if we tried but with the fact that we have 24hrs je to go to all the targeted places, we quite menyesal visited that place haha.
Song Ji Hyo Mas Idayu

SMTOWN Coex Artium

Screen dia ni kalau buat outdoor midnight movie perghhhh

Okay bagi mengubat hati yang lara, marilah bertemu oppa (not opah) di SMTOWN! Jaw drop weh sampai depan building dia, masa tu pulak tengah ada music video EXO. Omo omo gedik mode is activated! Hahahahaha masuk dalam double triple jakun cause kiri kanan gambar idol kelahiran SMTOWN darul ohsem. Haha korang cuba bukak blog ni tengok ada video inside it - SMTOWN Coex Artium Full Guide. Die hard fan kpop memang wajib lah ke sini ye sebab ada jual segala jenis merchandise yang korang dambakan. Lepastu ada satu section yang korang boleh duduk chill dengar lagu from all albums from SMTOWN recording artists.

Kad tu boleh pilih mana yang korang suka. Pilih EXO sebab ada member minat EXO so ending dia aku bagi tu je as souvenir wakakakaka

We enjoyed the museum sebab dalam tu macam function lah siap ada dance room, recording room which korang boleh karok dalam tu, boleh main keyboard pastu ada changing room retis and ada AR experience which korang boleh virtually bergambar dengan kpopers like Super Junior, EXO, TVXQ and banyak lagi lah tak ingat dah banyak sangat. So gambar tu nanti korang boleh purchase and bawak balik as souvenir. Ohh and lagi satu yang korang boleh enjoy dalam ni is SMTOWN Theatre tapi make sure korang check dulu pukul berapa start sebab masa kitorang sampai baru je habis show wadehek. So burn lah another experience haih.

Hey don't touch me please

GG's new member

Till we meet again dear huge concrete building

So we were undecided whether to lajak lagi pergi 63 Building tapi we both wore wrong shoes which is equals to disaster when you need to walk a lot. So demi cinta dan kasihku pada kakiku yang nak pakai lama ni, we balik lah right away after that. Need to get full rest for Nami Island tomorrow! Ahhhh can't wait. Eh can't wait apenya kau dah pergi pun kan. Haha I mean, masa tu laaa cam ahhhh can't wait.

Oklah bye penat dah taip. Nanti sambung day 4 in Nami Island okay! Annyeong.

Seoul & Busan Trip - Day 2

Hey there assalamualaikum.

So as promised, aku sambung Day 2 in Seoul. As per my previous post Seoul Day 1, I mentioned in the itinerary that we went to Everland on 2nd day.

Before pergi Everland, make sure korang ada stamina yang tinggi, kalau boleh have a good rest, wear comfy shoes and boleh prepare sandwich ke ape ke, bawak je bekal kalau risau susah cari food dekat dalam. No such thing like no outside food whatsoever okay, kita bukan pergi Sunway Lagoon ni (oops). Since we probably gonna spend whole day inside, nak berlapar dalam tu adalah tidak kelakar ye.

Perjalanan from our guesthouse to Everland around 2 1/2 hours. Using Naver Maps is super easy, and please follow recommended route/transportation yang apps tu bagi sebab selalunya dia bagi yang shorter walking distance. And korang boleh opt for less stairs kalau yang senang sakit lutut tu wakaka. Tapi at first we had this mindset yang taking subway everywhere is convenient. WE WERE WRONG. Taking bus is even more convenient wehhh. Logically sebab bus station is everywhere, subway maybe kena jalan jauh sikit and kalau rasa cam dah sampai entrance dia, nak sampai ke subway hub is long way to go. Some subway siap ada shopping street so boleh bayang tak underground tu happening gila and crowded. Some subway banyak stairs and no one take elevator kecuali those with wheelchair/stroller so cam takyah la bawak perangai malas nak panjat tangga eh. Malu beb.

And lagi satu aku suka pasal bus dia sebab dia punctual! And dekat every bus station ada live update bas kau sampai lagi berapa minit and it's so damn reliable. And orang Korea ni sangat baik, diorang tak duduk tau tempat orang tua/perempuan mengandung. Aku yang duduk. Terduduk. Demm. Lagi satu bas dia ada announcement next station tu station apa so korang akan alert la station mana yang korang nak turun. Tapi dekat Naver Map pun bagitau kena turun after berapa station. So dia takde randomly berhenti dekat simpang mana mana ikut sedap perut. Okay sorry gais aku terdrag pulak pasal bas. Kita sambung pasal Everland eh.

It was freaking cold I didn't even need a kiss from the wind

Tips naik bas: Masa naik tap T-money card dekat scanner. Kalau dah announce station korang next, korang tekan 'Stop' buzzer, kalau tak nanti dia tak stop (kalau takde orang dekat next station). Lepastu before turun make sure tap again T-money card dekat scanner. Kalau tak nanti kena penalty. Aku tau korang mesti cam hak elah, macam la tak pernah naik bas, ni pun nak bagitau. Cause it happened to be I didn't know. So just in case k. Dilarang bitter 💋

So dari Maru Guesthouse we jalan kaki naik bas dekat Garwoldong Board sampai Woosung Apartment lepastu tukar bus kat situ, naik bas sampai Jeondaegyo Bridge Ap. Basically kalau takut salah naik bas tanya je, 'Everland?' pastu ahjussi bas tu mesti paham. Everland station tu ramai orang turun and bas dia biasanya dua tingkat. Lepas sampai korang kena tunggu free shuttle bus, sebab entrance dia jauh ke dalam. Masa aku sampai tu awal lagi Everland pun baru bukak tapi ramai gila orang eh, and mostly Korean sebab aku pergi Saturday wakakaka kenapa eh kau pergi weekend mas? Yakinnya kamu.

The entrance to istana negara Everland! Your fun-filled-with-penat-day begins here
Tak pergi Everland lah kalau takde gambar dekat Rose Magic Tree. Menurut mitos, pokok ini dipercayai mampu menaikkan seri background gambar anda.
Tapi okay la, I got to see couples wearing matchy clothing being so lovey dovey like what kdrama feed you guys. Diorang memang sweet like that weh. Kdrama tu tak tipu okay. Macam aku dengan mira ni dua ketul potato rolling rolling there. Mana oppa? Tapi yang aku perhati culture diorang ni memang kalau perempuan always nak lawa je. Budak form 3 beratur depan aku tunggu ride, sepanjang tunggu turn tu dok berbedak ye gais. Muka aku masa tu adelah sikit macam mayat hidup, I just don't care anymore. Lawa lawa pun takleh beat Korean 'natural beauty' *uhuk uhuk*.

*lakonan semata-mata tapi nampak natural kan ahaks*
The excitement is real guys! But please someone bagitau ahjumma belakang tu, she should twist 90 degrees to the right for a better art.
Rides dia mostly meant for kids. For adult ada jugak and yang extreme memang tahap aku tak berani nak naik pun. Contoh extreme T-Express wooden roller coaster. Aku masa tu period pain 2nd day (can u imagine my suffering?), lepastu temperature was 2 degree celcius weh I'm dying so aku macam berperang dengan segala macam perasaan dekat Everland. Terpaksa aku relakan Mira naik sorang (or senang cite aku chicken out). Sebab T-Express tu aku tengok pun aku dah macam minor heart attack, silap haribulan aku turun jadi debu debu cinta pulak. And lagi satu ride yang aku rasa seram was Let's Twist. Kau google tengok seram tak seram. Yang ni we both skipped.

She survived the T-Express! Daebak!
Meanwhile, this girl escaped and got her cup of hot chocolate instead. She had no regrets.
Shared this Seafood Platter with ma gal for lunch at Garden Terrace (in Everland) for 16800won ~ RM60

We enjoyed some of the rides including Rolling X Train (yang ni roller coaster jugak), Hurricane, Championship Rodeo, Lily Dance dan banyak lagi. Yang animal lover jangan skip Safari World okayy. B
est weh berbaloi gila lah kau bayar tiket mahal kan (refer to my previous post on cheap ticket from Klook), dalam tu ada cable car (Skycruise) and gondola chair (Skyway) sebab kan kau dah turun pergi naik ride semua dekat bawah bawah, boleh mati nak naik atas balik time keluar tu jalan kaki. We enjoyed the Skyway sebab dekat Malaysia takde wehhhh acah macam nak gi naik skiing. And for Muslim no worries, dekat situ ada surau jugak. Surau dia sebelah rumah hantu tak silap. I wonder why they put it there haha.

Actually we missed quite a lot sebab macam rushing nak balik, next time kalau pergi lagi should stay till night sebab malam macam lagi meriah ada show, parade, lampu2, fireworks and all. Boleh refer to this blog The Ultimate Everland Guide sebab aku rasa content dia so helpful. Of course sekarang aku tengah menyesal sebab tak buat Everland research before pergi. But yeah, there can always be a next time. Semoga dimurahkan rezeki pergi lagi bersama suami. Ameen please gaiss.

Before sambung bebel, here are some pictures!

Missed the ferris wheel cause I was busy sleeping? Nope, cause it was closed. Demm you have 365 days so why close on the day I visited.
Autumn in my heart 2 - female lead. Male lead to be announced *undecided ahhh*
Welcome to Amsterdam in Everland!
It was tulip season ke ape tah but they have it there. PWETTY! No need to go Holland camni
This girl putting our bukti WAS HERE on the sangkar like thingy
Walk this way, will ya?

No! Walk this way. The never ending argument.

Balik as usual kena tunggu the free shuttle bus to bus station, depends on what time korang balik, bas ni can be crowded kalau time peak hour orang balik. Since kitorang balik belum gelap lagi, quite okay la. Guess what's the best thing masa naik bas balik tu? A group of handsome oppa(s) was inside! Adrenalinku berkecamuk.

We left early sebab macam dah penat sangat and we need proper food! And we were aiming for Yang Good BBQ (Muslim friendly restaurant) sebab dah dekat dengan Gangnam. So kalau korang nak cari Yang Good ni banyak je blog yang post on guide to this restaurant. Boleh refer to Yang Good Guide dia siap bagi map and how to go there. Dia macam ke dalam sikit and the road there macam sunyi. Kalau nampak yellow sign board with sheep on it maksudnya dah sampai lah tu.

Found yaaaa :)
Someone's craving for lamb - no, not me
This girl is!

Waiting patiently for my chicken on the plate to take turn on the grill slrpppppp

The food was good and the portion, mengenyangkan I would say. We took lamb and chicken BBQ set (RM120++ for 2 pax). Dia macam lepas sehari kau use up energy, kau melawan cold weather outside, it's so nice to have actual meal, BBQ some more, and warm weather ahhhhhhhhh bahagianya. And memang ramai Malaysian dalam tu. Jadi tak perlu ragu-ragu sayang. Eh.

Okay lah done bebel kot, aku rasa macam aku pergi Everland je, apahal tah post panjang sangat. Till next time, sekiah toceh.

7 days Seoul & Busan Trip (Itinerary & Budget) - Pre trip and Day 1

Hello there assalamualaikum.

Okay so I've been meaning to post this Korea trip itinerary and budget thingy since April tapi apahal tah delayed till now. I guess I'm too occupied with so many things I dunno what (or might as well say I'm lazy?). So the trip was on mid March haritu. It's like the end of winter and beginning of spring but if you expect to see lots of cherry blossom, this is not the right timing to go. It was super cold still but no snow thank God (else I'd be dying zzz). The best thing is it's less crowded so it's more peaceful ahah.

So here you go.

BUDGET FOR 7 DAYS - APPROXIMATELY RM2500

Exchange rate during the trip - RM3.65 for KRW1000
Included - return flight ticket, transportation, accommodations and entrance fees
Excluded - personal shopping & meals
Note: Estimated spending on meal - RM440 for 7 days. So kalau include meal and personal shopping, korang standby lah lagi 1-2k depends on selera tekak korang. Halal food is double the price of non-halal food so if you're expecting RM10 per meal, I believe Malaysia pun susah dah nak dapat sekarang ni kan. Kalau yang perut Melayu tu sila la bawak instant food banyak2 from Malaysia k gaiss.

Pre-Trip Booking

Flight ticket
We took AirAsia X (sebab way cheaperrr of course). We booked on January for trip in March. I suggest you guys book earlier kalau nak tiket murah. Tapi due to commitment yang unpredictable I don't dare to book too early so mahal sikit lah.
Total: RM1025.65 (incl. baggage 25kg to Korea 30kg from Korea)
Oh over here ada hack sikit on the baggage sebab kitorang beli tiket asing, lepastu macam seram kalau tetiba baggage salah sorang tak cukup, so we shared the baggage under one name. So price tu actually aku dah divide baggage accordingly okay. And for 2 people, lebih dari cukup for us banyak tu je baggage. Sebab aku mas idayu je, bukan che ta. Eh?

Accommodations (Room price here is per person for 2 pax)
Maru Guesthouse Seoul (4 nights) - RM217 per pax
Business Hotel Busan Station (2 nights) - RM117.32 per pax
Hotel Parkwood Incheon (1 night) - RM97.50 per pax
We stayed in Incheon on last night to avoid kabut-ness nak gerak from Seoul before our early morning flight back to KL. And thank God we did that!
Total: RM431.82

Klook! Please pre-book dekat sini for cheaper deals

  • Discover Seoul Pass - Click to see what's the deal with this pass but in short, what I got last time was:
    • Free AREX train ride one way from/to Seoul-Incheon
    • Free entrances for 24hrs (you can choose up to 72hrs tapi lagi mahal la) (and I recommend you take 48hrs at least sebab 24hrs tak dan cover much places)
    • The card will be used as your T-Money for bus and subways in Seoul and Busan (kena top up tau, starting balance would be 0 won)
    • Price: RM 130
  • Okay sedang aku menaip tiba-tiba ada handsome guy duduk depan wehhhhhhh kbai ini hanyalah iklan haha sorry sorry
  • Namsan Seoul Tower Observatory + Hello Kitty World - RM 40
    • Kalau beli kat sana, admission for Observatory sahaja dah 10000 won (RM36.50~)
    • Btw kalau korang setakat nak lepak tengok view, takyah beli this ticket sebab ni macam kalau nak pergi observatory macam menara KL tu, kalau nak pergi love lock je, yang tu masuk free and lawa terukkkkk at night, nak datang hari2 pun takdehal
  • Pocket Wifi - (RM12 per day * 8 days / 2 pax)
    • Yang ni korang pilih je mana2 yang paling murah and boleh pickup dekat KLIA2 sebab kalau pickup dekat Seoul kena ada credit card which aku takde muahaha
    • Total: RM 48
  • Everland - RM107.35
  • Total: RM 325.35
Train to Busan!
Yang ni kitorang beli one way je dulu sebab takut cam anything happen ke ape nanti burn pulak ticket kalau beli return ticket. Tapi kalau korang yakin and nak jimat, beli return ticket sebab beli online lagi murah.
Btw sebab nak jimat and tak kejar masa, we took Mugunghwa train instead of ITX/KTX which are more expensive. It took 6hrs with Mugunghwa to reach Busan. 3hrs by KTX and 5hrs by ITX. Boleh refer Seoul to Busan guides! Beli tiket online kat sini --> KORAIL
Beza dia macam korang naik KTM biasa pergi Ipoh vs naik ETS. Haa gituh.
Total: RM 106

Okay marilah proceed with Day 1

Day 1 - Departure

We took morning flight so 4:00am Grab dah pickup from Cyberjaya to Putrjaya Sentral. Naik KLIA Transit from there to KLIA2 and reached around 5:00am
Total Spending:
Grab RM21/2pax - RM10.50
KLIA Transit - RM9.60

Cliche window view cause why not but rilek eh ni still Malaysia
Sampai KLIA2 terus pickup Pocket WIFI dekat departure hall pastu drop baggage, check in then fly for 6 tido-bangun-tido-bangun hours tiba tiba sampai Incheon. ANNYEONG!

Before she realized the weather out there gonna kill her
Waktu dekat Korea is 1hr ahead Malaysia. We reached around 2:50pm Seoul time. Weh baru sampai airport kan, aku dah amazed gila like impress sangat dengan airport dia yang superb. Immigration officers dia tak bercakap tau, ada device yang detect our passport and will speak our nation language. Give them a round of applause people *clap clap*.
Spot a bald ahjussi
Sampai sana terus redeem our Discover Seoul Pass. Kalau boleh korang download the apps siap siap before gerak sebab in order to redeem korang punya AREX ticket, kena activate card tu dulu thru the apps. No worries, ada instruction given, dekat Klook itself pun ada. So once dah redeem the card we went to redeem our free one way AREX ticket to Seoul. Train dia macam kau naik ETS, ada coach and tempat menunggu tu memang dah designated for every coach. And no worries kalau tak beli wifi, sebab airport ada free wifi. Weh dalam train pun free wifi. And free wifi dia tidaklah tenat macam line Umobile korang ye kawan2. Kbai aku nak pindah Korea.

Malas nak edit gambar ni tapi the right side tu belakang pasu putih tu kaunter AREX. Sebelum sampai sini kitorang sesat tak jumpa kaunter sebab jumpa KFC terus cam ah forget Seoul, I need fries right now!
And the train departed then we acah acah salam perantauan video call our family and all dalam train menceritakan how amazed we were already (belum sampai Seoul dah camni gaiss) bahahaha.

Okay, before korang datang kan, most importantly WAJIB install Naver Map apps! With this, and sufficient phone battery, and wifi yang tidak tenat, you gonna survive everywhere in South Korea.

So from Incheon Airport we took AREX to the nearest train station to our guesthouse. Seoul station ni ya Allah besar ye, macam kau rasa KL Sentral tu dah mampu menyesatkan kau, yang ni lima kali lah kau sesat. So make sure korang exit tu dekat exit/entrance yang paling dekat dengan mana korang nak pergi. No worries, Naver Map tu akan bagitau korang nak exit mana.

Seoul welcomed us with heavy rain. It was hujung winter when we were there, and it was super cold, everyday temperature paling high pun 12 degree celcius kot. Now hujan pulak. SILA BAWAK PAYUNG SEBAB PAYUNG MAHAL. And sebab walking distance je Maru Guesthouse dari Seoul Station and macam kedekut nak naik cab, we dragged our luggage in rain bermemori daun pisang berdua jalan kaki saat turun hujan. I was wearing my thickest jacket with some warm inner BUT IT WAS STILL COLD TO DEATH.

After all the drama, we finally reached Maru Guesthouse. Betul2 sebelah 7 Eleven hoyeah. For those yang nak bawak luggage besar2 tu takpayah la duduk Maru ni, sebab nak bukak luggage je pun bontot kau dah langgar katil. Too small but okay la kalau setakat nak tidur and muat la nak solat one person. And since ini bukan trip extravaganza mewah mewah, at least the bed is comfy, it's more than enough. Ada pantry and washing machine ape semua, kalau nak masak pun boleh takdehal (but at your own risk), memang nice la guesthouse ni and staff dia baik gila. We even left our luggage for 2 days in Busan.

So this is how our room looks like. Kecik gila but yeah sape suruh cheapskate. Image from Agoda cause too tired to take photo upon arrival.

Image result for maru guesthouse seoul station
Entrance dia camni la, sebelah tu nampak kan 7 Eleven haaa dia cam sunyi sikit kat sini tapi takde pervert alhamdulillah ramai ahjussi ahjumma je. Image from Trip.com

Done check in, we followed our itinerary to go Namsan Seoul Tower. Nak naik cable car to Namsan but too bad cable car was under maintenance till out very last day in Seoul. I repeat, TILL LAST DAY. Sedih gila okay, merajuk sampai tak jadi pergi Namsan Tower sebab malas nak find where to take bus up. And our itinerary pun kacau bilau since then muahaha. Sebab dah gelap, so we headed to Myeongdong Street which was just walking distance from the cable car place.

Rajukku tidak lama setelah ketemuk kamu Adli yang Manjaaaa <3 Sedap weh

Underground Shopping Center Myeongdong

Kalau nak cari socks murah and souvenir to your so called kpop fan friends, please buy here sebab sini paling murah for souvenirs. Socks as cheap as 10000 won for 11 pairs. Kbai nak pindah Korea.

Jumpa tak oppa korang?

Myeongdong Shopping Street

Yang ni kalau korang jenis skin care lover, cosmetic lover, silakan ke sini sebab memang semua ada kat sini. And also ada food stall yang ada halal food (eat at your own risk cause not many in Korea yang memang dapat halal certified). We ate quite a lot actually sampai cam taknak balik bilik. Tapi tak lupa diri esok nak pergi Everland so kena balik awal sebab esok nak use up energy.

Ini bukan acah. Memang hujan k.
When I was there, banyak kedai tengah promo Buy 1 Free 1 termasuklah Innisfree. 20 sheet masks for 11000 won (RM40~).
Ayam goreng Myeongdong 5000 won semangkuk tapi sedap dia sampai esok

First day setel shoppingkan barang orang kirim supaya esok2 boleh enjoy tanpa was was

Thanks to this girl, I survived when ahjumma ahjussi tried talking to us cause she can speak Korean (thanks to her effort watching RM, Kdrama, dengar Korean music and of course, learning the language)

Oh yeah, kalau nak beli sneakers ke sport shoes ke, sini murah okay. FILA yang 400+ kat sini sana tak sampai 300. Tapi aku tak beli. Jangan tanya kenapa. Aku penat dah menyesal.

Total Spending in Seoul:
Topup T-Money - 30000 won ~ RM 109.50

Total so far (excl food & shopping) : RM 2018.42

And with that, we survived Day 1! To be continued for the rest of days in Korea. Stay tuned.
